In this workshop, vibrational aromatherapist, Debbi Quinn, will help you to create a custom Mala inspired by your personal intentions. Meditating on a mala brings peace of mind. Traditionally, it is a garland of 108 beads or seeds used for prayer and meditation in the Buddhist & Hindu traditions. There are so many explanations out there for the mystical #108. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

• 108 is divisible by the sum of its digits
• There are 108 nadis and marma points in the body
• 1 stands for spirit or your god/goddess source, 0 stands for emptiness or completeness in spiritual practice, & 8 stands for infinity or eternity
• The numbers 9 & 12 are considered by many to be very sacred numbers, and 9 x 12 = 108
• The Heart Chakra: The chakras are intersections of energy lines & there are said to be 108 energy lines converging to form the heart chakra
• Time & Feelings: Some say that there are 108 feelings, with 36 being related to the past, 36 to the present, and 36 to the future

What is Reiki? Reiki is a gentle hands-on healing practice originating over 5,000 years ago. Reiki was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui on his final day of a 21 day fast in the Holy Mountain of Koriyama of Japan. Both powerful and gentle, Reiki is known to help just about any injury and illness you can think of. Reiki also reduces stress, provides relaxation, relieves pain, supports the immune system, increases vitality, helps spiritual growth and emotional healing and increases overall energy levels.
Reiki is an important tool used by body and mind to stimulate its own innate power to self-correct and restore health and well-being. The workshop introduces the basics of Reiki including:

• Level One attunement in including the first symbol
• Information on the history and origin of Reiki.
• Introduction to energy anatomy.
• Indications/benefits of Reiki.
• How to most productively support health conditions and successfully address symptoms.
• Hands-on instruction and practice
• A detailed training manual including all the above-mentioned information for future reference.

Reiki Level 2 is a continuation of energy received in Level 1. This course includes the skills to help others during their healing process. We will study and practice the techniques of distance healing, hands on healing, and study three Reiki symbols with mantras. Reiki 2 allows the body to heal at a deeper level. This class will give you the tools to give Reiki Sessions to others.
The Level Two attunement empowers you to use these next 3 sacred symbols to further boost the healing potential of the Reiki energy for self and others.
The Level Two class includes:

• A Level Two attunement, increasing the healing power of Reiki.
• Introduction of energy-focusing tools used to empower, protect and break through blockages.
• Instructions in distance healing - how to use the Reiki symbols
• Hands-on instruction and practice

Cutting the Cords of Negative Energy...This workshop is a creative exploration of the chakras with essential oils and a self-healing meditation. It is suitable for anyone interested in exploring aromatherapy from an emotional or soul healing perspective. We will delve into each of the 7 major Chakra points, their individual characteristics, the importance of keeping each open & healthy, effective ways to balance & enhance each center as well as our aura & the importance of ritual in our daily lives.

We consider the roots, the womb space and the Earth Star, our connection with Earth and our vitality. The lower chakras ground us in reality and the manifestation of our ideas. They bring us into connection with this Earth, allowing us to truly own our space and feel we belong. We will come to understand ourselves in terms of our boundaries as people energetically, physically and sensually.

The middle chakras bring balance to the body; ignited by the fire of confidence from the solar plexus, the pulsing wisdom of the heart and the voice to bring this energy into reality. We will apply blended oils to use in the meditation and learn about the vibrational frequency of essential oils to rebalance.
