Hello Moonbeams!!! 

A wave of soft Cancer moon magick is rolling in… inviting us to cleanse, release, and gently wash away what no longer belongs as we prepare for the next chapter of our journey. 

Every New Moon opens a doorway, but this one asks something a little deeper of us. It asks us to trust the next chapter before we know exactly how the story unfolds. 

Cancer is the great nurturer of the zodiac — ruled by the Moon, connected to the tides, our emotions, our memories, and the sacred spaces we call home. Under these watery skies, pieces of ourselves that have been tucked away in the quiet corners of our hearts may begin floating back to the surface like forgotten treasures carried in by the sea.

Summer's sweetness is something to celebrate...

Litha is a holiday celebrated by many Pagans. Many know it as Summer Solstice. Depending on where you are in the world, it falls somewhere between June 20th & 21st. Midpoint in the calendar, the Solstice represents the longest day of the year in the North & the longest night of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. It is one of 8 Wiccan Sabbats that mark the turning of the Wheel of the Year.

Known also as Midsummer's Night, it represents the balance between light & dark, both outside & within you. Now we experience the magick of Summer Solstice-a celebration of the peak of summer's beauty... a time to tune into your dreams, your soul seeds, and your true heart essence... living the day with intention and magick. The Summer Solstice is a great time to pause & reflect on our intentions & vision for the year... a wake-up call to get moving!

Probably the place most associated with Summer Solstice is Stonehenge... England's ancient stone Druid circle. The stones are set in a way that at the moment of sunrise on Summer Solstice, the light passes through a stone corridor to illuminate an altar stone.

Solstice is also a time when the veil between the mortal world and the Faerie realm is at its thinnest. According to folklore and ancient traditions, if you honor the work of the Fae, they may return your kindness by helping to manifest a wish you ask during the Solstice festival. For this is the night the Fae dance by the bonfires and spread their magick across the land beneath the light of Grandmother Moon. Make sure to have plenty of treats and Fairy Mist on hand for these little ones!

As a daughter of Yemaya, Summer Solstice has always reminded me of the sea, & She reminds us to flow in the right direction. When life closes in & we feel as if we are drowning, She is there to remind us that water supports us; we do not need to go under.

Happy June Moon Beams!

All is in flux as June blooms us into new experiences and expressions…We have a fluttery NEW MOON in GEMINI rising on June 14th/15th, right before the SOLSTICE on the 21st, heralding a new cycle of regeneration and serving as a bridge for our Soul to move more freely into this world. Gemini is ruled by the twins, where one is mortal, and the other is immortal. Together, they represent the duality of life and the balance between our physical and spiritual beings.

Gemini is a flexible, extensive, multi-faceted zodiac sign. As an archetype, Gemini energy hops and skips and changes both shape and mind more than any other. This New Moon encourages this kind of pliability AND reminds us of its downfalls – too much time adapting to the needs and opinions and preferences of other people may push you into the danger zone of *not* doing what’s right for you. So try hard under this Moon to stay true you YOUR internal guidance system. A softer message for this lunation…to encourage us to stop intellectualizing every emotion and start leading with their heart instead. Blue Moon Blessed Water
First get a glass jar. Paint the inside with blue paint and glitter if you'd like. Decorate the outside by gluing gems, cut outs, or paper in blue shades and in the shape of the moon or stars. Or you can paint these on. Fill the jar with water (a natural source such as the river or ocean is best but tap water is okay) and leave it under the Blue Moon to charge. The blessed water can be used in ritual.

Charge a Talisman
On the evening of the Blue Moon take a piece of silver jewelry or a silver coin, make a special wish and say it aloud 3 times. Place the object under the full Moon overnight. Silver is associated with the Moon & the Goddess & is the best material for use in a Blue Moon ritual.
Don't worry if you cannot physically see the Moon, as its energy is still present. Once the object has been charged by the energy of the Blue Moon, it will act as a lucky talisman to allow your wishes to come true.

Moon Bath
On the Blue Moon evening, undress and stand naked under the full Moon. Bathe in the moonlight and visualize the moonbeams of Luna cleansing you from head to foot. Once you feel thoroughly cleansed, say aloud 3 times your special wish.

Altar
Decorate your altar or working space with blue items such as candles, feathers, stones (good choices include: lapis lazuli, turquoise, amethyst, sodalite), water, and flowers. Add blue food and drinks (that occur naturally or add botanical food coloring) to celebrate the Blue Moon.

This Full Moon in Sagittarius may feel a little like déjà vu… but that’s because this is the second Full Moon lighting up this already magickal month of May. The Universe is circling back around, asking you to pay attention to what’s unfolding.

There are some incredibly powerful aspects to this moon, one being that it is a rare Blue Moon-an additional Full Moon occurring within a subdivision of the year, long considered deeply magickal. The Blue Moon holds special power. Some believe this second Full Moon carries the wisdom and knowledge of the Goddess herself, containing threefold the energy of a typical moon. Others see it as a time of heightened communication between our physical being and the Great Mother Goddess… or the wise Crone. It is said that spells, rituals, manifestations, and intentions cast beneath a Blue Moon are several times more potent than during a regular esbat. And honestly… I can tell you from experience, all of this is true.

So when this Sagittarius Full Moon rises on Sunday, May 31st at 4:45 AM EST, prepare to feel the winds of change stirring your soul. This is not quiet energy. This is wild-hearted, visionary Sagittarius… the cosmic wanderer daring you to stretch beyond the safe and familiar and finally breathe life into the dreams calling your name.

And because this is a rare Blue Moon — the second Full Moon in this already magickal month of May — the energy feels amplified. Pisces is the twelfth and final sign of the zodiac, the last chapter before a new astrological year begins. In many ways, this moon feels like a spiritual exhale. We begin the month in Pisces season and soon after step into the Spring Equinox on March 20, the official beginning of spring and the turning of the cosmic wheel once again. In many ways, this moon represents a gentle transition between endings and beginnings.

This New Moon offers a soft spiritual reboot, inviting us to reconnect with our feelings and honestly look at where we stand. Pisces energy has always belonged a little bit between worlds. Dreamers at heart, Pisceans often drift through imagination, creativity, and intuition, sensing realities that live just beneath the surface of the ordinary.

New Moon Altar Magick

Tap into the Pisces vibe by adorning your altar in lavender and sea green, with flowing fabrics, a pretty bowl or vessel for your Moon Water, and pearls, seashells, and reminders of the Sea. A moon altar should be placed facing the west- mine is round but any shape is fine. Add crystals, herbs, flowers and anything you have on hand that reminds you of the moon. Place a mirror in the center of your moon altar to represent the moon. Any mirror is fine, but circular mirrors are ideal for moon altars. If your moon altar is outside, set up your mirror so it reflects the moon. In the center position a bowl of saltwater and submerge a white seashell into the water. Around the bottom of the bowl, place nine white shells forming a crescent. If the magick is for the gain of something, place the shells from right to left. If the magick is for the removal, or loss of something, then place the shells from left to right. Leave out for 3 days.
